There is no minimum when it comes to learning the Quran, however we recommend that children should be old enough to take instructions from an online teacher without getting distracted. 🙂 similarly, its never too late to learn the Quran or about Islam.

Its best to let us know in advance if you are unable to attend, so we can cancel the session and allocate make-up sessions for your missed sessions. If however you do not inform us beforehand, the session will be automatically cancelled and a make-up session will not be allocated.

You can contact our customer support team, they will assign a new teacher to you that suits your needs better.

It is recomended and proven to be most effective to learn and read the Quran in the morning and after or just before Fajr Salah. “Indeed, the recitation of dawn is ever witnessed.” (Quran 17:78), there are numerous benifits of recitation of Quran after or just before Fajr. So the best, and recomended time would be at or around dawn. The second best time would be whenever it is most convienient for you.

We can easily arrange teachers that speak and teach in English, Urdu, Punjabi, Potohari, Pashto, Kashmiri and Arabic. If you need the medium of instruction to be any other language, get in touch with our customer support team, we may be able to arrange a teacher fluent in that language.

We automatically assign female teachers to female students. If however you see that a male teacher was assigned to a female student or vice versa, you can always ask our customer support team to reassign the teacher as appropriate.

All our courses are applicable to those reverted to Islam as well. Our teachers always give extra care and attention to our reverted brothers and sisters and are available to answer any questions that they may have along the way.

Learning to read and recite the quran is a great start in this direction. We, as muslims believe that all ‘hidayah’ (guidance) comes from Allah (s.w.t) and sometimes taking a few steps in the right direction are all that is needed to be blessed with ‘hidayah’ which then guides us to lead a morally and ethically upright life.

When working with kids, our teachers are trained to teach morals and ethics along the way. For kids, at the end of each session there is a small but insightful dua every day.

You can also opt for story-telling lessons on alternate days for your kids. Our teachers will include stories from the the Quran, the seerah, the sunnah and from the many heroic sahaba and include those on every alternate day as part of the course.

We also have the daily “thawab” programme, where kids taught the concept of “thawab” (reward from Allah) and are given a small “thawab” earning task (e.g; “Ask your mother if she needs help with anything today.”) after each lesson and then checked up at the begining of the next lesson. This reinforces their Emaan and teaches kids essential Islamic moral values as they continue learning the Quran… and they can earn “thawab” in the process.
